The Google IABS Group is a Communications tool through which IABS members can share ideas and information, and Choruses/Quartets or individual members can let others know about Barbershop activities on their "patch"!. It is open to everybody to access, but only members can post messages. Locations of Barbershop Groups in Ireland As you can see by the above map, barbershop singing in Ireland is more common along the East Coast, from Newcastle in Co Down to Bray in Co Wicklow, which is probably due to the fact that almost half the population of the Island live in this area. West
of Dublin Counties Meath and Westmeath have also got groups with the
remaining area of activity being in Cork City and suburbs Music
Festivals that include Barbershop Competitions are held annually in
the following venues Sligo
Town, Coleraine Co Derry, and New Ross Co Wexford Travelling
